Fishing Report for June 29, 2008.
Today, Capt. Bill took Mike DeSilva and his cousin for a day of bass fishing. We went off Popasquash Point where Mikey immediately landed a 22lbs striper and we landed about 15 more LineSiders there. After that, we went back into the harbor were we landed a few more nice bass. It was a good day but a lot of boat traffic.
Fishing Report for June 26, 2008.
Today Capt. Billy took Bob and Jason Berube, Nate and Jose fishing for striped bass. We hit Popasquash point again today where we ran into about 20 good size striped bass. Jason Berube set the standard when he caught his personal best striper on rod and reel. The 9 year old´s 25lb striper was the largest striped bass on todays charter. Jason was a very exited young man as you can see in the picture. Congratulations on the 25 pounder Jason
June 25, 2008.
Today, Capt Bill took Reenee and Jim Casapulla fishing for striped bass. We hit Popasquash point, catching about 20 nice fish with pogies. Reenee caught the largest bass at 23lbs and landed some nice fat healthy fish. Jim's biggest was 20. Good day and its always great to meet some good Yankee fans.
June 24, 2008.
Capt. Bill took Greg McGrath and his dad also with Nick C today for Greg's birthday. We went striped bass fishing around Popasquash Point, landing at least 39 nice bass in the morning. The biggest fish was caught by Greg's dad Jerry, it was 33in and 19lbs.
June 23, 2008.
Today, Capt. Bill took Gary Geoffroy and the boys bass fishing at Hog Island after we got our pogies. We caught at least 20 beautiful bass and Gary's brother in law got a 33lbs and the kids caught plenty of nice fish.
June 22, 2008.
Today, Capt Bill took the boys from Fall River. We went bass fishing around Popasquash Point, and got 20 nice bass. Uncle Manny got the biggest fish, 24lbs catching it with live pogies. Some good times, with some good guys.
June 21, 2008.
Capt. Bill took Gary Lepore and his crew of hooligans out bass fishing today. In the morning, it was fast and furious and then we had to pick a few bass for a couple hours and after that we got on them again hot and heavy landing some nice fish up to 23lbs. We had a guy named Benson who kept making a mess and losing fish. Whatta pain in the behind! But it was a good day.
June 20, 2008.
Today, Capt Bill took Wind Evans and his pals from work for a day of striper fishing and we did really well. We landed at least 30 beautiful stripers. Wind caught the biggest about 26lbs and lots of fish chasing pogies on the surface. We did really well.
June 19, 2008.
Today, Capt Bill took the boys from McGoverns' Floor Covering out on the bay for a day with their good friend Joe. We fished out in Newport where Mr. McGovern landed a 39lbs slob and we landed 5 other nice fish in their 20´s. We headed back to Popasquash point where landed another 15 bass and Joe got a nice one about 25lbs, Nick got a nice one about 23lbs. It was a good day.
June 18, 2008.
Today Capt. Bill took John and Helene fishing. We hit the striped bass at Prudence Island and it was non stop for an hour and a half. We landed 16 bass and the biggest one caught by Helene was about 20lbs.
June 17, 2008.
Capt. Bill took the clients to the Providence River where there was a lot of fish. We caught a lot of bass, but weren´t very big. Biggest was about 16 lbs but today was a lot of fun. Pogies are everywhere!
June 14, 2008.
Today Capt. Bill took the Wind Evans Party fishing for striped bass. It was a slow morning, we got 4 bass up to 36in and then around 10:30 AM we found a pile off Colt Park. We slayed them for about 3 hours, catching 30 nice bass. The biggest fish was caught by Wind´s brother in law, 33lbs. We got one other 30lbs. It was a great day
June 13, 2008.
Captain Billy took out Steve Andrade, Mike, Mick and Tim fishing for striped bass in Narragansett Bay where we landed about 25 stripers. Mike catching the largest one at 42in 33lbs. We used live pogies and they were whacking them one after the other. A nice day of fishing with a good run of bass.
June 11, 2008.
Captain Bill took Dave Squid and his buddies fishing today for striped bass. We fished in the Bristol Harbor, landing a beautiful 26lbs pound and at least 12 other nice fish. Next stop was Prudence Island, where his buddy Bruce got a 30lbs and 5 other nice fish. It was a great morning and had a lot of fun. Forgot the camera, no pictures sorry!

Captain Bill took long time family friend Dom Canna fishing around Prudence Island where they landed some real nice fish using some live pogies. Biggest fish caught by Dom was 19lbs.

Captain Bill took Raoolio and his friends from South Dakota fishing today in the Bristol Harbor. The harbor was full of pogies, we got 10 nice bass by 9 AM. Callie caught the largest fish of the morning at 19lbs. It was a great morning, expect Raoolio wouldn´t be quiet.
June 9, 2008.
Capt Bill took Jim O´reilly and his brother fishing and we didn't have to leave the harbor. There were nice bass bashing the pogies in Bristol Harbor and we landed some beautiful bass. Jim landed the biggest at 20lbs and his brother landed one that was 19lbs. We had a good morning.
June 8, 2008.
Captain Bill took the Can't Imagine and the boys from Broadway Pizza bass fishing in the Mount Hope Bay where we landed 6 nice keeper stripers. The biggest one caught by Patrick was 22lbs. It was a little slow today, hopefully things will pick up tomorrow!
June 7, 2008.
The Captain took the big man and his crew to the Mount Hope Bay, where we found monstrous stripers and all the fish were between 23-35lbs. The largest weighing in at 35lbs caught by Baboo. It was a good day with some huge fish.
June 6th, 2008.
Captain Bill went to Mount Hope Bay with Steve Andrade, Dave McGovern, and Steve Merrit. We went in serach for stripers and found a big pile of them, and slayed them for a good 5 hours. Biggest fish was 28lbs by Steve Andrade.
June 5, 2008
Capt. Bill took the Hardwood Floor Boys fishing at Common Fence Point where we landed 6 beautiful bass but the hard north wind was too much to stay there, so we made the run to the Providence River. Today the bass were committing suicide. We must have caught at least 40 nice bass, and after leaving, the bite was still strong. Jay caught the biggest fish of the day around 25lbs. The fishing was good.
June 4´th, 2008
Capt. Bill with 5th Mate, Mike, up into the Providence River where got some beautiful stripers up to 30lbs using live pogies. It was good!

Capt. Bill took the boys from California bass fishing off Prudence Island, using live pogies where we snatched 10 bass, biggest about 18lbs. They had a great day, with smiles on their faces. Had lots of fun!
June 1, 2008
Today Capt Bill took Helene And John fishing for Striped Bass around Prundence Isannd, the Bite was a little slow, but John landed a beautiful 34 lb bass that was 47 inches long and landed a few more bass, and some blue fish. All and all we had a great morning and a wonderful breakfast at the Hope Diner.
Capt Bill would also like to send a special congratulations to Peter Dias and Chestnut Hill Fishing team for the efforts in winning the "Striper Marina" Striped Bass tournament with a 31 1/2 lb bass landed on the "Cant Image" on May 30, 2008.
